Use front-end and back-end technologies such as HTML/CSS/JavaScript, React, and Node.js to develop our website and launch web apps, including special events pages, such as the NSOP guide, and Vergil+, which improves the course selection process for Columbia students
Coded my own full-stack website that implements many interactive features that allows users to create an account and utilize the practice tool in Algebra, Geometry, Combinatorics, and Number Theory, which consists of original problems of increasing difficulty. Includes various resources such as contest, programs, and website information, as well as a review module to go over past solved problems.
Work on the machine learning of clouds, using SPCAM Earth data on heat flux, solar radiation, humidity, etc. and coarse graining to generate predictive models of global temperature increase and climate change. I am reparameterizing and improving dropout algorithms in training NNCAM, the lab's current deep neural network. We are trying to improve robust fitting through stochastic methods and possibly a GAN in order to hopefully influence lawmakers involved in the Paris Agreement as well as serve as a model for various weather forecasting institutions across the globe.
Teach computational mathematics, including algebra, combinatorics, number theory, and geometry, to improve students’ problem-solving skills and performance in math competitions. I specifically teach Pre-Algebra sections in the NYC year-round program and UC level courses in the summer/winter programs.
Give feedback to students’ work in AoPS’s online courses based on content, rigor, and style, ranging in topics from intermediate combinatorics to calculus
Practice twice or three times a week at Baker Field and play in regional tournaments throughout the year, including regional qualifiers for nationals
Organize various events to generate interest within fields related to applied math, including corporate visits and networking sessions. I also assist in leading outreach activities such as coding bootcamps for local high school students and the MMATHS competition.

Run math team and HMMT tryout meetings, prepare original practice material and handouts to teach new concepts, organize participation in math competitions throughout the year; help lead and practice with the Middle School Math Team; lead practices and mentor the Middle School Mathcounts Team through personal experience in the competition; founded SMMT, a triannual mathematics contest for the St. Mark’s Upper School
Collected data on school projects and presented them to the community through Excel and Python-based 3-D graph visualization tools; modeled and predicted community engagement using statistical and predictive analysis on current and past data; improved school engagement by ~50%
One of the founders for a competition math class that is held each Sunday at a local junior high; we introduce and teach techniques and problem-solving skills for competition problems; main author of our handouts that contain original material of various topics that we use for each class; write and post public weekly math problems on our website
Organized all aspects and events of the annual senior auction that provides funding for the senior class and activities throughout the year; raised more than $70,000; led a new technology-based bidding system with iPads to make the auction run smoother
